the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, Evening
Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hospice
experience required License: Valid nursing license required
Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: 1 year of
hospice experience Description: Provide nursing care to hospice
patients in homes or facilities. Manage a caseload of 12-14
patients with 4 visits daily or conducting 2 starts of care (SOCs)
per day. Charting is done using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) electronic
medical record system. Work requires rotating weekend shifts every
4 weeks. Availability to work all minor holidays and 2 major
holidays is necessary. Dress code consists of navy blue scrubs. No
experience with InterQual criteria or Milliman is required. This
role does not involve utilization review or discharge planning.
Candidates must not have been employed by any affiliated facilities
within the past year. Mileage reimbursement is provided, and
cancellation policy allows for shift cancellations as specified.
Department-specific orientation will be provided. Requirements
