Pediatric Transport Registered Nurse Location: Our Hospital in St.
Louis Schedule: Full-Time | 36 Hours Per Week | Straight Shift
Compensation Grade: NURSE-D-018 About the Position We are looking
for a dedicated Pediatric Transport Registered Nurse (RN) to join
our passionate team at our St. Louis facility. This essential role
involves delivering exceptional care during helicopter transfers
for young patients. You will apply the nursing process to evaluate,
stabilize, and execute necessary diagnostic and therapeutic actions
during transport, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients
throughout the journey. Position Responsibilities: Evaluate and
stabilize patients during helicopter transfers. Conduct necessary
diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Maintain accountability for
the quality of patient care. Collaborate with various departments
and multidisciplinary teams. Uphold patient rights and
confidentiality at all times. Accurately document care plans,
interventions, and outcomes. Engage in process improvement
initiatives and pursue professional growth. Keep all required
certifications and competencies current (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
Effectively delegate tasks and provide guidance to unlicensed
healthcare providers and LPNs. Qualifications: Education:
Completion of an accredited registered nursing program. Licensure:
Active RN license in Missouri or a compact license. Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be obtained within the specified timeframe).
Physical Requirements: Capability to regularly push, pull, and lift
up to 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; ability to bend,
