Position Overview: Location: Our Healthcare Facility in Washington and Surrounding Areas Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Multiple Shifts Available JoinOurNursingTeam Incentives: $30/hour plus Variable Shift Incentives W-2 Employee Status Minimum of 12 hours required every 90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday) Shifts available in 4, 8, or 12-hour formats Variable Shift Incentives offered Work at your convenience! Position Summary: Are you looking for a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse role with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift commitments. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires you to manage a minimum number of hours, be available on short notice, and remain adaptable to last-minute shift changes. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. The Licensed Practical Nurse - GIG will have the opportunity to float between selected facilities. Departments Seeking GIG LPNs: Behavioral Health (BH) Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical-Surgical (MS) Facilities/Locations: Facility A - St. Louis, MO Facility B - Festus, MO Facility C - South St. Louis County, MO Facility D - Washington, MO Facility E - Troy, MO Facility F - Perryville, MO Facility G - Cape Girardeau, MO Facility H - Dexter, MO Qualifications: Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED. Licensure: Must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; relevant educational experience and successful licensure will also be considered. It is your responsibility to obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state where you will be practicing, adhering to all State Board of Nursing requirements. Experience: At least one year of recent bedside LPN experience is required for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent bedside LPN experience is necessary. Certifications: For Medical-Surgical (MS) - BLS certification required. For Critical Care (CC) - BLS and ACLS certifications required. For Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. IV certification is mandatory. Preferred Experience: Experience with Epic software is advantageous. Physical Requirements: This position necessitates the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift, along with the capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job responsibilities. Why Choose Us?
