pantries, and more.Job Summary: The Advanced Practice Registered
Nurse (APRN) is responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety
of diseases and injuries as a member of a Care Team in a Family
Practice model setting; provides comprehensive, outpatient medical
services for individuals and families on a continuing basis.At

functions, practices and procedures of a medical clinic and
officeKnowledge of CPT and ICD-10-CM codingKnowledge of and ability
to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and injuries in a
Family Medicine model settingKnowledge of, skills related to and
ability to treat medical and surgical emergenciesSkill in operating
personal computer utilizing word processing, databases, Electronic
Medical Records (EMR) and e-mailSkill in operating various office
equipment: copy/fax machine and telephoneSkill in operating various
medical office equipment, such as; EKG machine, pulse oximeter,
nebulizer, spirometer, audiology, etc.Ability to maintain
confidentiality of information, patient financial and medical
informationAbility to read, write legibly, calculate mathematical
figures and medication dosesAbility to solve practical problems
dealing with a variety of variablesAbility to exercise good
judgment in appraising situations and making decisionsAbility to
work and interact effectively and positively with other staff
