Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable. Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, and more. Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers. Flagging traffic when required. Understanding of separation and clearance regulations. Moderate travel with possible overnight travel when required. Competent pole and ladder-climbing skills. Works aloft utilizing climbing gaffs, ladders, and mechanical lifts. Safely operate company vehicles and equipment such as bucket trucks, excavators, trenchers, and other machines. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Proficient in reading network design prints. Splicing of passive and active equipment is a plus. Requirements Must have a cheerful outlook, a strong work-ethic, and the desire to learn. Physical capabilities including climbing, lifting, and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and possess the ability to work under pressure. Must demonstrate the ability to make sound and ethical decisions. Must be available to work after business hours as required, i.e., storm damage. Punctual attendance is necessary. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
